Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles, and Camilla did not attend Harry and Meghan's private christening of their daughter, Lilibet.

At Harry and Meghan's Montecito, California, home, 20-30 guests, including Lilibet's godfather Tyler Perry, an undisclosed godmother, and Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, attended the ceremony.

Lilibet's title of princess is in line with the precedent created by the letters patent issued by George V in 1917.

The royal family's absence comes after months of turmoil between Harry, Meghan, William, and Charles.

Harry & Meghan, who received Frogmore Cottage from Queen Elizabeth, have been ordered to leave. Prince Andrew is allegedly interested in buying it.

Frogmore Cottage has been the only place for the couple to have adequate security for them and their young children.

Charles invited Meghan and Harry to his May 6 coronation despite the royal family's difficulties with them.

It has not been confirmed if the couple will attend.

The news was confirmed by a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan and Buckingham Palace did not comment on the matter.
