Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated St. Patrick's Day with the Irish Guards in Aldershot.

Kate is the new honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards, a role previously held by William.

William presented a parting address and Kate spoke about becoming "Colonel Catherine."

William joked about not being able to finish a pint of Guinness on his final St. Patrick's Day as Colonel.

Kate promised to support and champion the Irish Guards in their duties and service.

Kate has participated in parades with the Irish Guards most years since her marriage to William.

The celebration was interrupted for a couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this month, they also celebrated St. David's Day with the Welsh Guards.

Prince William became Prince of Wales and Welsh Guards commander at the event.
