The Princess of Wales celebrated St David's Day on Tuesday (28 February) with a visit to South Wales with Prince William.

She wore a chic houndstooth black and white midi skirt from high street brand Zara, which is no longer in stock.

The skirt was paired with a cream long sleeve jumper with a roll neck, and a long-line, tailored coat.

The Royal Family's social media account said the visit was to "champion mental health initiatives and meet local communities."

William and Kate visited the Wales Air Ambulance Charity's new family room and met with the personnel.

The new family room "will play a vital role in supporting families, nurses, and volunteers," according to the royals.

The royals said that safe spaces like the new family room help emergency workers who do so much to keep us safe.

Wales is important to the couple because it's where they lived together before they had kids.

With her high street midi skirt, the Princess of Wales looked smart and elegant, demonstrating her exquisite sense of design.
