Little royal fan Elsi-Haf Cunningham presented Kate with flowers during a parade at Combermere Barracks in Windsor.

Elsi-Haf’s mother said her daughter would remember the experience for the rest of her life.

Kate attended the procession with her husband, the Prince of Wales, for the first time since he took over as the regiment’s Colonel.

Prince William visited the Welsh Guards for the first time since becoming ceremonial Colonel.

In his address, William recalled how the Welsh Guards' "banter" helped him survive.

The couple participated in the tradition of presenting handmade leeks to officers and soldiers.

Officers and soldiers then distributed the leeks among the ranks.

The couple later met families from the regiment and members of the 5th Royal Australian regiment who are in the UK helping to train the Ukrainian army.

Kate impressed a parade attendee by singing the Welsh national anthem in Welsh.
