Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks on March 17.

Kate was filling her new role as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

Kate wore a shamrock on her breast and William on his hat.

The event marked Kate's first time attending the parade as Colonel.

Kate handed out the traditional sprigs to officers, guardsmen and the Regiment's Irish Wolfhound mascot.

Kate wore a Catherine Walker & Co. teal coat, matching fascinator, Gianvito Rossi heels, and an Emmy London clutch.

The teal color was likely a nod to the Irish Guards’ plume.

Kate addressed the parade attendees, expressing her pride and support for them as their new Colonel.

Overall, Kate nailed her appearance and duties as Colonel.
